The Kong Land DAO is a decentralized platform that connects the physical and digital worlds by utilizing SiLo and HaLo chips with NFC technology. These chips, embedded in products like clothing and accessories, communicate with NFC-enabled devices to provide information or interactions. The data is stored on the Ethereum blockchain, ensuring secure and verifiable records of product authenticity and ownership. These chips can be used for an array of marketing opportunities, enabling brands to engage customers with new experiences and a revolutionary way to interact with and perceive everyday objects.

Process

As part of the Kong Land team I developed multiple internal and external infographics with the overall goal of simplifying the tech and everything around it. This provided information to chip buyers but also to the community surrounding Kong Land itself. Community badges were also a project I took on within KL. Members could earn badges on the blockchain for attending community events or participating in specific ways. Because these were such a hit, I took the lead on organizing and launching an NFC chip scavenger hunt on a large scale. NFC chips were hidden around an open venue where bypassers could scan them with their phones to earn exclusive badges and prizes.
